Retrofitting for 2050
Retrofitting a dated Garda building in Phoenix Park.
The building was outdated, poorly laid out, and no longer meeting the operational needs of the people working inside it.

We assessed the building's existing spatial layout, circulation patterns, and service infrastructure to identify where the design was working against the people using it.
(Design)
The retrofit strategy opened up the building's core circulation while maintaining clearly defined secure and private zones. This provided a balance between openness with the operational requirements of a working Garda facility.
